Sooner Or Later

Well I guess this was bound to happen. Elliot broke the growth plate in his thumb. He is fine thank God! It could have been worse. He is such a good athelete and so strong that I think he forgets to bring it down a bit when he is playing. He can be very extreme and this time he was a bit over the top. He hung himself by his thumb in his basketball hoop. He then decided to go to his friends (they are right behind us ) and seek help from his buddie. He was afraid I would "make him stop playing and come in the house"!! Of course I would have!!

He is doing fine but out of baseball for 3 weeks!! We warned him something "bad" would happen if he kept up with the kind of "tricks " he was trying to do.This is quite a blow for the star pitcher /player. Needless to say his coaches were not happy! This is a lesson in We told you not to do that!!!!

"What Do I Love About My Home" Please be sure to post comments and check out all the wonderful gals and their beautiful homes and blogs. This is my living room at christmas. My sofa has since been slipcovered in white. I know crazy with 4 dogs and a little boy. What was I thinking? I love my house at Christmas it is welcoming and cozy. I got a fresh cut tree to replace the white one that weekend. The next picture is the eat in part of my kitchen. I love retro Christmas and Santas. Can you tell?
